What is your standard rate? 

No cookie cutter pricing here. :)

Rates are based on the size of the wedding + time of year.

How many weddings does Ginger's Weddings coordinate per day?

Ginger's Weddings only commits to 1 wedding per day so that YOUR BIG DAY gets our undivided attention. :)

Rest assured, we won't be in a hurry to go to another client's wedding. 

How much do you require for the Security Deposit / Retainer Fee?

I require a 30% non-refundable retainer fee.

The remaining balance is due no later than 1-month prior to the wedding date.   

What forms of payment do you accept?

We only accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, PayPal, and Credit Cards.

Sorry, personal checks are NOT accepted. 

What do you require in order to reserve my date & time with Ginger's Weddings? 

In order to formally reserve your date and time, a formal contract and a 30% retainer fee is required. 

How far in advance should I book a Day-of  / Month-of Coordinator?

If your wedding is in the peak season (May - Sept.), I highly recommend 5 mos.- 1 year out from your wedding date, to ensure I'll still be available for your date. The more notice, the better my availability.

If your wedding is in the off-peak season (Oct. - April), then 5-9 mos. out from your wedding date would be standard.  

 

 

How far in advance should I book a Final Planner?

No matter what season, anywhere from 6-10 mos. out would be ideal since I would be assisting you in booking your last 1-3 vendors. 

What are your rates based on? 

My rates are based on two factors: the season and size of the wedding. If you're having a medium or large-sized wedding, I've already incorporated the additional expense of 1-2 assistants into my pricing. Also, if the ceremony / reception venues require a parking fee, unlike my competitors, I won't charge you that additional parking fee on top of the price quoted. Instead, any anticipated parking fees will simply be deducted from the amount you already paid. 

Do you give discounts?

YES, discounts are available to teachers, military, and first responders! :) 

*Proof of documentation (government issued I.D. badge or recent pay stub) is required. 

      *PLEASE NOTE:Discounts only apply to the actual bride and/or groom themselves, and not their relatives, close friends, or a third party paying for the wedding.

How does the monthly payment plan work?

I'm glad you asked. :)  The 30% retainer fee still applies to secure the date.

Any remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 1 mo. prior to your wedding date.

Let's say you book Ginger's Weddings 6 mos. out from your wedding date.

Since the last payment must be paid no later than 1 mo. prior to the wedding date, then you have 5 mos. to spread out your remaining balance.

    EX.: Your remaining balance is $910 and you booked your date 6 mos. out. 

             910 / 5 =  $182/month payment for 5 mos.  

How much do you charge for the a la carte services (assembling wedding invitation suites, favor boxes, programs, assembling / delivering hotel welcome bags, etc.?

Hourly rate is $45/hr + cost of materials, if not provided by the bride/groom.  

Is there a travel fee? 

LOCAL TRAVEL - So. California

Yes, the travel fee is an additional $0.55 per mile round trip of the ceremony / reception venue(s) from 92130.      

This is cheaper than other planners, who'll charge you for the ceremony/reception parking fees

TRAVEL to Washington (state) or Hawaii 

Yes, the standard rate + AIRFARE applies.
